Does a great job of helping the wine breath--brings depth to it--and it being white lets me know this one is for white wine.

I am not a wine enthusiast, and definately not into drinking red wines. I had a friend who had one of these aerators and she poured me and some of my friends a glass without it being aerated. I choked down a sip and almost felt like coughing. She then poured some through the aerator and I took a sip. I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth it was... I could actually drink it and actually liked it. I was amazed that I could actually enjoy red wine and I drank the entire glass and finished it before everyone else. I still do not drink much wine, but I know people who are wine enthusiasts and I am thinking this little gadget will make great gifts.

When I was touring Napa, California, I tried red wine using an aerator. I had never seen one before and thought it was a great idea for allowing wine to breath quickly. I didn't buy one right away. I saw this on Amazon and decided to give it a try. And I love it! It does make red wine more lushes. If you like red wine, you will love using this aerator!

This gadget really improves the flavor of red wine. Especially the not very expensive ones. It smooths the flavor out. We liked the first one so well, we bought another for our summer home.

I am no wine connoisseur, but my husband is, and he has been wanting one of these ever since he saw one used at a small wine tasting. He finally received one for his birthday and just had to try it out... He chose a French wine that I don't really care for, aerated some into one glass, and poured some straight from the bottle into the other glass. Even I could tell the difference between the two (the aerated wine was "less awful" in my opinion). So I guess it works and he seems to be thrilled with it :)
